Taking care of yourself should be a priority. It is essential to your mental health. When your mental health is good, I truly believe that your personality shines because of it. What are you doing to make sure that you take care of yourself?

Remember that taking care of yourself is not selfish. When you take care of yourself you become a better person. Ever notice how much happier you are when you even just get 10 minutes to yourself?

Minimal Self-Care | Starting the Day

♥ When You Wake Up Wash Your Gorgeous Face

♥ Make Your favorite morning drink, whether that be tea or coffee. Enjoy every last sip.

♥ Grab a blank piece of paper and write out 5 things you are grateful for. This will help re-wire the brain to focus on the positive.

♥ Shower! This helps you wake up, and you will get out feeling refreshed.

Bonus: At the End of Your Shower Turn all the Hot Water off, and blast yourself with cold water. This will help you feel rejuvenated, and it will definitely wake you up.

♥ Brush Your Hair: If You are feeling “Extra” Do an Up-Do. Pinterest is your friend!

♥ Do Your Make-Up: Even if it is just Eyeliner and Mascara.
