There is so much to know about breastfeeding! No one tells a mom that when she decides to breastfeed that it does not come as naturally as one would think!
Knowledge is power, but not all knowledge is available for moms without looking for it! Sure they have lactation consultants in the hospital, but they have to be willing to help! Being prepared and doing the research before your baby arrives will help YOU in the long run!
When it comes to the first few weeks at home alone, without the help of nurses and doctors, everything becomes confuddled. You question if your baby is getting enough to eat (because you can’t see what they are taking in). You want to know why they are eating so much and so often!
I have been slowly creating articles on breastfeeding for all the moms out there that need help because breastfeeding is a learning process. Currently, I have been breastfeeding for twenty-one months, and guess what I am still learning something new every single day!
