Toddler Reading Book

I knew when I was pregnant with my son that I wanted him to have an amazing relationship with books. I wanted him to love books like I loved books.

I also remember thinking that there was no point in reading to my newborn. He didn’t understand what I was saying, he didn’t care about the story. And besides that, it was boring to me.

But, babies and toddlers that are read to consistently are more inquisitive, and they are more in tune with their surroundings.

Reading to your toddler can also provide emotional benefits such as bonding with mommy or daddy. Building your toddler’s library for storytime is a journey. Finding the right book that can keep you, the parent entertained and keeping your child’s interest.

Rotating your toddler ‘s storytime corner is brilliant! You not only get new books each month and season, you don’t have to read the same story over and over again. Well, at least longer than you have too.

Teaching your toddler about seasons by rotating books is a fun way for them to start learning about the world. Your toddler is able to soak up new information like a sponge. And while they may not be able to have a full blown conversation, they are taking in everything around them.
